Carondelet High School

Kaeli “Kiki” Ilagan-Evangelista, a proud alumna of the Class of 2017, returns to Carondelet as an athletic trainer. As a Carondelet student-athlete, Kiki made her mark on the Cougars Soccer program, playing for four years. She began her journey on the freshman team. She ultimately became a two-year starter on the varsity squad, achieving remarkable success, reaching back-to-back North Coast Section (NCS) Championships in 2016 and 2017. Her experience as an athlete ignited her passion for sports medicine and laid the foundation for her future career.

Kiki went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco, where she also completed double minors in Child and Youth Studies and Health Studies. She then earned her master’s in Athletic Training at California State University, Long Beach. During her time at CSU, Long Beach, Kiki gained extensive clinical experience working with the Women’s Soccer, Men’s Volleyball, and Track and Field teams, developing her skills in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athlete performance.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Kiki provided athletic training support to various local high school sports teams in Los Angeles County, allowing her to connect with young athletes in her community. She concluded her clinical work with an incredible opportunity at the Los Angeles Galaxy, a Major League Soccer team, where she further enhanced her knowledge and expertise in professional sports settings.

Kiki looks forward to working closely with our student-athletes, coaches, and families to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
