Carondelet High School

Cat Arroyo has dedicated her life to the sport of water polo. A native of Annapolis, Maryland, her passion and talent for the game led her to UCLA, where she became a four-time NCAA National Champion, the first woman in UCLA history to win four NCAA team championships, and was inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010. She went on to represent the U.S. National Team from 1995–2003 and became the first American woman to play professionally in Italy.

Today, Cat serves as the Associate Athletics Director and Head Water Polo Coach at Carondelet High School, where she provides leadership for the school's athletic programs while mentoring student-athletes both in and out of the pool. Under her leadership, Carondelet has won multiple league, NCS, and NorCal championships, including the 2025 NorCal Division I title. In 2025–2026, she was named the California Coaches Association Girls Water Polo Coach of the Year.
